i have a rough idea of what staff in training should be like now. each person that expresses interest in being staff immeadiately gets the position of the tzaddik. then they will progress to rebbe, rabbi, ettc, until i feel they are ready for the postion. the leveles will be as follows(note: these are merely possible levels... i have not fully decided yet): - tzaddik
- rebbe
- posek
- hazzan
- rabbi
- mashgiah
- kohen katan/ gadol
- gabbai
- mohel
- maggid
- rosh yeshiva
all who are one of these positions will be considered part of 'beth din' NOTE: all of these titles are based off of titles in syunagogues and jewish communities; but do not compare the person to the actual title... it is just a name, just like in the staff positions. shalom- john

Sorry but i personally think there should only be one staff in training position otherwise you end up with a long complicated chain of groups when you could simply just have one group which when you are certain the member will make a good member of staff. A long list of groups you have will just be silly and tedious.

good suggestion. i was thinking along the lines of 'tzaddiks' for powers in training, rebbe's for dominions in trainging, etc so each person knows what you are training for.

Or you could just put *insert staff title* in training.
Thats how i'd do it. On my boards my system works as following:
Stage 1:Junior Mod- basic powers on a board Stage 2:Mod- Actually mods one board Stage 3:Gmod: Mods a section or all boards.
Junior mods a staff in training position all they do is delete posts, delete threads and modify. Then mods get the powers they need and gmods powers they need. Of course i have far more power than any of them

I'm just warning you know of the problems this may cause in the future. Also stop just letting people be staff because they express an interest. Evaluate them before they get to even start to train.

I think this is wise, kinda like Paul's "be not hasty in the laying on of hands" But, yeah, it's good for you to assert yourself as the main forum administrator, John. Maybe this convo should be private or semi-private?

Sorry if it came across as though i was trying to boss you about i was just trying to help you i've seen forums that shut down because they had no members yet the had 55 staff. I don't want this forum to go that way. I'm trying to help and if i came across telling you what to do apologies.
NOTE FROM JOHN: i refuse for profanity to be used on this forum. because this person has used profanity, they will be stripped of their position as tzaddik and account suspended for 2 days.

thevicarsson,
You language is obviously completely inappropriate and unacceptable on this kind of forum. I advise against any future activity like this.

Itiswritten as a moderator you have the power to edit my post if you could be arsed to log in. And all i was doing was setting out my point. I'm sorry if you don't agree with swearing, we all do it in real life why should we act like angels just because this is a so-called religous forum.

i thought that i did disable your account- i will actually.
i swore at one time in my life but i have never sworn since. there have been a few exceptions were i swore because i was repeating what someone said and it just slipped. but the closest i have ever come to cusing since i stopped was "hell" and i always use that literally.

Itiswritten as a moderator you have the power to edit my post if you could be arsed to log in. And all i was doing was setting out my point. I'm sorry if you don't agree with swearing, we all do it in real life why should we act like angels just because this is a so-called religous forum. Wh-t? Then maybe you have to repent from particular things in your life and then, after you are kosher, start writing to the forum. Know that in OT it was forbidden for unclean to enter the sanctuary unless they were purified several days. Take it as an allegory and principle for today, when we live in New Testament. I admit if there are things worthy to be damned, such as idols and sin and so on, we may say: Let Lord curse it!, or something similar, if it really is worthy of it. In this case maybe I'd take example from Sons of Israel - I think they curse idols and such uncleanesses. But please do not at least use dirty words!!! Ephesians 4:26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath...If you ask whether I do speak dirty words in private life while not doing so on forum, I will say NO! When I'm angry, I take care not to sin, as it is written above. I have crucified my earthly passions and thus I'm not angry if something evil is happening to me, but zealous for the Lord, I start cursing in the name of the Lord that what is worthy of it - without using dirty words, but using Word of God. There's something odd in every religious people such as you and me from my birth. If we are born into christian family, it many times leads to hypocricy. I'm not saying it is bad to be born in christian family, but many such people 'learn how to behave well in church' and then, when they are not in church, do the opposite. I advice to repent and sincerely humiliate self before the Lord. You may beguile the men, but you shall never beguile the LORD! What does HE SEE? Everyone's private life - all your things you do in secret. All things, whether in public or in secret. Let us not be two-minded religious people, playing on both sides, but sincere christians and messianics. You know, we need to have personal relationship with our Lord through His Word and His Spirit so that He may form us. That's why true christianity/messianism shouldn't be considered as religion, cos religion is mechanical, it's only a mask. Notice that many people going to church are just religious, not having relationship with God.

that was the pont i was trying to get across.
but jonatan, we are not "living in the NT" as your thoughts suppose. we are living under a new cov't, but it is the same cov't, wih the same condition, but it is just no longer of the letter, but of the spirit, and comes with better promises. this is just a disagreement you and me have with theology, but i think that you should correct people with the right theology. that as the ONLY weakness i found in your post however. just meditate on what i have been trying to get across, and i am not mad at you or anything.

John, so your saying that the fact i have been born into a christian family means i am not a true christian. Then why i ask you do i use several religous forums in my spare time, and why do i try and thank god for everything. And i do have a relationship with God. Although i understand your point of view completely i don't believe it personally applies to me. And i come from the theology that everybody has some devil in them but in others it is more apparent.
