Someone on our forums posted this a while back and it was interesting to get a variety of perspectives on it.
What are the first 3 characteristics/peronality traits that come to mind when you think of Jesus {Yeshua}? Try and use one word adjectives. Think of yours before you scroll down to see others'.

He is the Lion and the Lamb. - that's just fitting and biblical definition
There exist two extremes among people - if someone say that Yeshua has only love - it may easily turn into infantilism - they call everyone who does separation from the sin or from the world - "without love". If someone has an authority - annointment form the Lord and he use it, they may easily say "He has no love" - that's very sick and hippie-like opinion, but Kingdom of God doesn't look like democracy where everyone has right to do anything and no one should rebuke him/her for it. - such people should remember that Yeshua is also a Lion - Lion of the tribe of Judah! Zealous over Zion, over the House of His Father (the Temple) and Zealous for Torah. Such people would say that Paul hadn't love when he cursed Elymas in the name of the Lord, or that Yeshua hadn't love when He banished people who were trading in the Temple, with whip and great wrath.
The second extreme is where people are legalistic and may act indeed, without love. Only harshness and war - but that's also not the Kingdom of God. They should remember that Yeshua is the Lamb of God, faithful unto death on the cross. He has the everlasting compassion with people, only He cannot stand the sin.
Lion & the Lamb - that's Yeshua's description in shortcut

I, too, love the paradoxes in the personality of Jesus which we all would do well to imitate.
