I was wondering if any of you are familiar with the Jewish Legend of Metatron. You see, i dont think that Yeshua (jesus) is YHVH.[do not debate that here, i will make another thread for that.] I do not think he is an angel though. He is somewhere in between. The papers speak of Metatron sitting in heaven- a feat only YHVH can do in heaven. Yet, i think that Yeshua is NOT YHVH or God(as in the trinity). but he is only second to YHVH and is allowed this privelage. Metatron is also seen as a scribe. Yeshua is a scribe of the book of life. (see revelation). Metatron is called Little YHVH. What a curious title. Midrashim were befuddled by it for years. but messianics have the answer: Yeshua. Little YHVH shows that he is higher than an angel Lower than YHVH. WOW, what a revelation!! Also, Metatron is said to be what keeps the earth going. The epistle of diognetus says that Yeshua is the great architect of the universe, who made the Blueprints that YHVH worked from. The Brit Chadashah (new testement) speaks of this as well, but the epistle of diognetus accents it. Finally, Metatron is found to be titled a mediator between man and YHVH. THIS IS MUCH MORE IMPORTANT THEN YOU THINK.  in judaism ther is supposedly NO MEDIATOR btwn YHVH and man. Yet metatron- a jewish legend- is said to be a mediator. Well, great! So that it FITS!!! Even if He is little YHVH, it doesn't matter. yes i am... are you comparing it to the legend of metatron?
remember that there are believed to be two metatrons. one they say is chanech. the other they do not know about, but they think he has 7 letters to hgis name, symbolizing the heavenly origin. they also think that the two metatron legends were combined.
i think that hanech is the angel of 6 letters, and Yeshua the one of 7. i think all of the attributes that hint at divinity are from the metatron Yeshua- and it explains how he is not divine, but is allowed to do these things.
i think hanech DID become an angel, but the angelic qualities givin to him are just the qualities used to blend him witht the other metatron. Hanech turned into a bnai elohim angel-- as all ressurected men will. Yeshua is the Little YHVH, etc.

yes- metatron is also said to have been the HIGH PREIST OF HEAVEN (cohen hagodal)... my theory is that there were originally two metatrons: one was Yeshua, 7letters to the name; the other was hanech, 6 letters to the name. then both got combined into one story with hanceh being the only one. i am not the first to suggest this from what i have read.
