I saw the thread that you posted Never Looking Back. Ummm, may I say wow elohel ;D. I thought maybe in here we could post songs that helped us through hard times in our lives. We could even tell what that thing was in case anyone else is going through something similiar that's testing their faith somehow. If the thing you were getting through was really "not something you want to discuss" than you don't have to. Umm, you really don't have to post lyrics lol. But yeah, I'm totally using this as an excersise when I become a therapist. Definitely group therapy. Please reply, I'm a teenager and I face all sorts of temptations and I don't exactly have the strongest will power. All I listen to is music(and my mom nagggg) so it would be wonderful if I could have music for the moments when I'm about to do something horrible. I'll start this off though. Ummmm "Praise You in this Storm" by: Casting Crowns. The thing that caused me to want to listen to this song every waking moment of January is somewhat known, and I'm embarrassed to talk about it. Oh, I know praying is always good but sometimes we need music to pray to. I love you guys there goes my my mother

What about some Messianic music? Do you have any? I like them! They have some kind of 'special annointment' - unique, Lord's atmosphere is there where the name of Lord is praised and other biblical themes are sounded there also. Mainly Zionistic theme - zeal for Zion. If I may recommend you some - it's my favorite, I don't know if you'll feel the same, but these I like. Heart for Israel Worship (Volume I) Heart for Israel Worship (Volume II) Heart for Israel Worship (Volume III) Ted Pearce - Zealous over Zion Ted Pearce - Hallelu et Adonai Road to Jerusalem Elohim - Experience worship from the heart of Israel Jonathan Settel - Kol BaMidbarA lot of them are also in Hebrew and almost all are sung both in English as in Hebrew in one track. btw.If may give you advice, listen only to messianic/christian or Jewish music - Do NOT listen to secular music! There's danger of anti-annointing in those unclean words in such kinds of music. Always check the content - what text is sung. If you know not - words are POWERFUL, and we need correct, holy, not unclean words. Remember - Solomon's Proverbs 18:21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit. or Matthew 12:34 ...For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. 35 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things.I know Yeshua said this statements for what WE speak with our mouth, but also it is important - what we listen to. You have to listen to the kind of music which won't defile you. Shalom and Bless you

I love that song. "Can't see past a scarlet letter" is like my favorite part. I got chill bumps when I saw it. I haven't really found a christian song that has reminded me of my stepdad lol. Ummm, you probably don't know who 3 doors down is but this song by them called "here without you" it reminds me of him. But, yeah it makes me feel kind of selfish when I think about... just everything I felt during "that time" I guess.that's why I didn't want to put the reason for that song like "pride of life" "don't hold on to wordly possesions" well, not possesions but you know what i mean but that song made my faith stay strong. I'm prone to stray when I'm really mad or sad.

I love flyleaf. I actually forgot about them until today. Before, I was in love with screamo music. Someone screamiong in my ears was just heaven and challenging. (cuz you had to figure out what the heck they were saying, plus the metaphors were brilliant.) they are absolutely amazing and their songs about god are so touching.
