you have heard that Yeshua was the living Torah. but did you know this was literal???
the temple would, every 3 and a 1/2 years read through the entire Torah. Every year the reading would be intereupted by the feasts however-- of course. so Yeshua, if you look, asted out certain portions of Torah once, and acted out parallel things for different feasts 3 times each.
for example. On the feast of dedication (chanukkah) the Cohen HaGodal (high priest) would light a big menorah and say 'i light the world.' Then Yeshua went out and said I am the light of the world. Next year he gave light to a blind man. The next year he didnt do anything, because that was the year of his crucifixion, and he was to fulfill this later.
For the feast of Sukkot (tabernacles) Yeshua went out into the wilderness for 40 days and nights. This is parallel to the Yisraelites bein in the wilderness for forty years. The Yisraelites asked for bread, and Hasatan tempted eshua to Make these stones into bread. etc.
So Yeshua went out and ACTED the Torah out. He was our living example.
