I am afraid the the tradition is stronger with Christians than the truth. Sunrise service and an egg laying bunny are more importaint than facts. LOL

Yes, I would agree that they system is much more concerned with maintaining the status quo and maintaining its customs and traditions than the truth. There are still a few people within the system though that are hearing the call and being brought out. I wrote a short post on the good Friday/Easter topic that you can see here: beitmidrashardmore.wordpress.com/

This is what I have believed for many years. It is good to get heavyduty science on our side. IMHO "Three days and three nights" Means just that, no if, and, or buts. But, will that matter to the convinced? Not likely. Shalom

I agree. I doubt that very few of the preachers will change their good friday/easter tune. Most of them would be out of a job if they did.
John 10:12-14 (King James Version)
12 But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep. 13 The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep. 14 I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.
