Forum is (NO LONGER) Shutting Down

I am sorry to say that this may be my last thread posted on this forum. After much thought, prayer, and meditation, i have decided that the time for this forum has run its course.

it has had its season in my life, and a great one at that. i have had a great time with all the members, making great friends with Pioneer, Itiswritten, Jonotan, Anochria, NeverLooking Back, etc. Just as some members have joined the forum for a season, i think that it is time for me to leave.

If any person thinks that they can run the forum, and is willing, I ask that you come to me so i can transfer admin functions over to them, to keep the forum alive. the forum has had a great and rich time in my spiritual growth, but i think it is time for someone else to hold to it, and care for it, if possible and if willing.

If not, i ask that all of you join Josh's forum at aletheia.proboards.com - a great forum! I will be visiting it from time to time, and if you join i will be able to contact you all. I will put all of your email adresses on my contact list and send you each an email.

the closing date for the forum is Jan 1, the beginning of a new year, a new season. I will be perserving threads that i think deserve to be perserved by posting them on aletheia for further debate.( if it okay with you, Josh- if they are posted on your forum, they WILL be worthwile).

I wish you all a great time. I ask that we all decide on a date to get on so that we can chat together for one final time.

Sorry to hear about that John. I know things have been pretty slow on here for a while, but I have been on other forums in the past that had very slow and very active times too. I haven't had near as much time as I use to for posting, but I do try to regularly drop by and check on things here. I also know that you have put a lot of work into this forum and a lot of the research on several threads, so I kind of wish that you would reconsider. What ever you decide, I wish the best.

i do know that it is a sad occassion, the forum shutting down. However, i will keep up with everyone- chesedv'emes, you are at thelove of god, the rest of you guys are at anochria's forum, etc. If you dont have a forum that i can talk to you guys with, i have most of your emails in my contacts list.

I loved talking to you all.

Itiswritten: trust me, it is not becuase of the crawl of the forum. i just think it is time. thank you for your help. know that you were a big player in my spiritual growth, and feel proud.

About the new admin, I would say that if it is so that you really end with the forum, and you need a successor, I would vote for Keith (Itswritten).
Don't know how he feels about it, but IMO, he, being a messianic forums' veteran, would be the best and the most competent choice.

Thank you Jonatan. I really do hate to see the forum shut down too. I realize that the activity has been next to nothing recently, but I would be happy to be the administrator in order to keep the forum open.

itiswritten hello to you i have been absent ror along time, lot of things have happened while i was absent.
i an alone now, many of my loved ones have passed, my wife, daughter and sister-in- law, her second
daughter. two nieces and two nephews. i have a lot of time on my hands and missed the company of like minded people. hope some of you
will find time to recreate some of the old acquaintances.
