what is Molech. Or would who is Molech be the appropriate question. this thread isn't exactly meant to be long. You can add more to the history of Molech if you want. Yeahh, I'd rather not look it up in a search engine becasue my mom has become very paranoid apparently. Ok, if you write the names of the seven freaking demons of the seven deadly sins do they come in you house?!!!!! she made me rip up my paper. throw it in the trash, and take the trash outside bull honkey!! Like my world history teacher says lol

Molech is a god who demands human sacrifices. Thank God for mothers. Cut her some slack, she wants you to be safe, sometimes overbearing comes along for the ride. I had to take away my grandson's internet name for trying to do porn! Whoa Nellie! Not in my house with out a fight!
Have a good day, kiddo.

molch is the demon of abotrion. When babies were born, they were passed through a fire or thrown into the fire and killed. This is the exact doing of abortion, except the baby is alive already. perry stone does a whole show on molech. abortion was shunned by early church and is found explicitly banned in apocryphal writings.
some pagan traditions claim that you cannot recieve salvation ubntnill you hear the screams of a dying baby.

I know she has good intention but it really ticked me off when she mentioned "thou shalt not put any other God before me" Sorry i won't burden you with my "home issues" lol. HA!!! a grandson of yours trying to do porn?!! I couldn't imagine it. Well yes I could ewww, I wish I couldn't lol. That must have been a funny ordeal. ;D you just made my whole day WAY better than it has been going *tear* lol just kidding, I don't cry over petty things. Yet again "home, well internet issues"

its not abortion per se. Molech represents the nephesh of abortion, but giving your seed to molech is throwing your child into the fire... solomon had his children given to molech by allowing his pagan wives to persuade him to do so.

Now I talk ALSO about the giving seed to Molech - TERRIBLE ABOMINATION! but also say about the problem with Pioneer's grandson - Jeordin! Do not take it as hehehe ;D! Sorry for slightly rebuking you - nothing against you, but it's not funny, rather sad. As true followers of YHVH, we must HATE SIN WITH TERRIBLE ANGER! I know the YHVH is merciful and righteous, but also HATING sin, El-Kanna, Jealous God - so should we be unto His image. Shalom

yes- eating blood of animals/humans, idolotry and FORNICATION are the three worst sins. they should always be punished to the maximum extent. ironically, these are the sins that the rabbis in the talmud decided are absoluely deserved of death penalty, and the three sins that the rabbis of the brit chadasha decided gentiles should immeadiately follow after conversion...(later to learn more commandments).
they are also the mitvot of the noachide laws.
this leads me to tell you guys of a revelation i recieved a while back- the rabbis of the BH taught progreesively according to the covenants.
as sinners, they were taught the gospel program and the rewards and blessings- the adamic cov't.
later, after conversion, they were taught the noachide cov't and had to follow the three noachide laws. this is the milk of a beleiver.
afterwards they were taught by the moshehic cov't, the meat of a believer.
they would progress in these 'levels (i use this term crudely)' and eventually end up learning the extras of the bible (note; they were all taught in a messianic perspective). i
n the moshehic, they would do what kabbalists often refer to as corrrection- they would do the 613 mitzvot not only externally (you can be as sinful as halel-lucifer- and still do the external of a commandment) but also internally. they would try to understand the thought behind the creator when he did this, and fix themselves according to the mitzvot. they would do all this through two things- love of the creator and love of your neighbor. this is taught in kabbalah- a direct corrosponcance to the words of Yeshua and the teachings of the BH rabbis.
i will start a kabbalah thread on this forum b/c i think it is proper for it to be known. i am learning it right now and it is said that you are to commune with one when you do it. this is the meaning of the verse 'in the midst of two or three, there i am also.' Yeshua was saying the HS presence is in groups. we can correct each other. maybe you can help me align some of the teachings of kabbalah with the messianic cov't (bacause not all of it is), or just show how the scripture actually IS kosher. but i think it proper to study it and i will say why in the thread.
sorry- that was WAY off topic, but i just had the thought and decided to share it.
shalom

GOSH Jonatan! Sorry ok. lol I know what you mean it's all right. I didn't see it as funny funny, just funny as in a "Well, I be darned" sort of way
John, I don't believe any sin is worse than another. If you do it, it's just plain horrible. You shouldn't be punished less or more for a certain sin because it's still sin. I absolutely agree with the fact you see fornication as one of the worst sins. I don't agree with the fact it's the worst but that it is the last thing I would ever do. Wait no, adultery is the last thing I would ever do, i can't stand it. Is there a difference? I thought Adultery is during marriage or divorce, you know anything after being married. Fornication is sex before marriage...right?!! I didn't see it as a bad thing before lol, thank G-d for G-d lol

A way to look at this that I think makes sense of what the Bible teaches:
Ontologically, all sins are equal in the way they breach our relationship with God, but Consequentially all sins are different in the degree of consequence they carry.

Umm, i'm just kidding, but yeah which verses "support your theory." don't ask which ones support mine becasue I don't have any

Where? Just look into Torah - first 5 books of Moses. Especially Exodus and Leviticus (maybe also Deuteronomy) - look at how each sin have to be punished. Some are sins called 'sins to death' - these are possibly the worst ones, the least tolerated by Lord. Because of these, the people have to be killed (stoned or something else). Fornication and adultery is this kind - punishable by stoning to death. And more punishable, when the one is from Levi's generation - a priest(ess). If a daughter of a levitical priest (or only high-priest?) sinned by fornication - the result = she must be burned.
Leviticus 21:9 If a priest's daughter defiles herself by becoming a prostitute, she disgraces her father; she must be burned in the fire.
You cannot say that to steal something has the same weight with fornication or idolatry(which is the same, but spiritual - and has the same weight if not more), because if someone steals something, he/she only has to replace it fourfold.
27 Can a man take fire in his bosom, and his clothes not be burned? 28 Can one go upon hot coals, and his feet not be burned? 29 So he that goeth in to his neighbour's wife; whosoever toucheth her shall not be innocent. 30 Men do not despise a thief, if he steal to satisfy his soul when he is hungry; 31 But if he be found, he shall restore sevenfold; he shall give all the substance of his house. 32 But whoso committeth adultery with a woman lacketh understanding (orig.hebr. heart): he that doeth it destroyeth his own soul. (Proverbs 6:27-32)
